Modified engines these days require a bit more TLC especially with rising tempertures which can destroy the heart of your vehicle. Using a higher pressure radiator cap equates to higher boiling point for the coolant and higher pressure also transfer heat from the cylinder heads more efficiently.
The Buddy Club Racing Spec Radiator Caps have pressure capacities of 1.3 x 100kpa (1.3kg/cm2) (18.49psi), in comparison to a factory cap that has a pressure rating of only 0.9kg/cm2 (12.8psi). Increased cooling capacity means better engine performance. Advantages are of course found on demanding conditions such as circuit racing.
