ACT Performance Clutch Kit Flywheel

Frequently Asked Questions

Which clutch should I choose ?

To choose the correct clutch setup for your application, you will need to know the estimate torque output of your engine.  Once you have that figure out, it is recommended to choose a clutch that will handle at least 10 percent more torque than your engine output.

ACT offers pressure plates with different clamp loads.

Clamp load is the amount of pressure exerted by the pressure plate ring on the clutch disc when the clutch is engaged. The higher the clamp load, the greater its torque-holding capacity before the clutch begins to slip.  The higher the clamp load, the more pedal effort is required.
