The ARP Pressure Plate Bolt Kit provides high-strength replacement fasteners for Chevrolet Gen III and Gen IV LS engines equipped with a compatible 12-inch clutch. These bolts secure the pressure plate, also called the clutch cover, to the flywheel.
The kit contains six M10 x 1.5 hex-head bolts manufactured from heat-treated 8740 chromoly and finished with a protective black oxide coating. Each bolt has an approximately 0.984-inch underhead length. ARP part number 134-2203 is designed specifically for compatible LS-series 12-inch clutch assemblies and should not be confused with a flywheel or flexplate bolt kit.

This is not a universal bolt kit for every LS clutch assembly. Before ordering, confirm that the pressure plate requires six M10 x 1.5 bolts with an approximately 0.984-inch underhead length. Clutch diameter alone does not guarantee compatibility.

Recommended Use
Recommended when installing or replacing a compatible 12-inch clutch and pressure plate on a Gen III or Gen IV Chevrolet LS engine. Replace fasteners that are damaged, stretched, corroded, incorrectly sized, or otherwise unsuitable for reuse.

The pressure plate, clutch disc, flywheel, alignment tool, and other clutch components are not included.
Installation
Verify the thread size, bolt length, clutch diameter, and pressure-plate requirements before installation. Align the clutch disc and start all six bolts by hand to avoid cross-threading. Tighten the fasteners gradually and evenly using the sequence specified by the clutch or pressure-plate manufacturer.
ARP specifies 50 ft-lb of torque for an M10 pressure-plate bolt when ARP lubricant is used. Follow ARP’s current instructions and the clutch manufacturer’s installation procedure. Torque specifications for dry threads, threadlocker, or other lubricants may differ and should not be substituted without confirmation.
