ACL Race Series Standard-Size Rod Bearings for Honda/Acura K20A2 & K24A

The ACL Race Series Connecting Rod Bearing Set is designed for compatible Honda and Acura K-series engine builds requiring standard-size rod bearings. Part number 4B1972H-STD uses ACL’s performance-oriented tri-metal construction to support consistent oil-film formation, bearing retention, heat transfer, and durability under demanding operating conditions.

This is the standard-clearance 4B1972H-STD bearing set. It is not the extra-clearance 4B1972HX-STD version. Always measure the crankshaft journals, connecting-rod housing bores, and assembled oil clearance before ordering and installation.

Engine Applications

Designed for compatible Honda and Acura 2.0L and 2.4L K-series engines, including applications using K20A2 and K24A-family engine blocks. Vehicle applications may include select Acura RSX Type-S, TSX and RDX models, along with select Honda Accord, CR-V, Civic Si and Element models.

Fitment note: Vehicle model and year alone are not sufficient to confirm internal engine-bearing fitment. Confirm the exact engine code, crankshaft journal dimensions, connecting rods and required bearing clearance before ordering. Modified engines and engine-swapped vehicles must be measured individually.

Installation

Professional engine assembly is strongly recommended. Measure every crankshaft journal and connecting-rod housing bore using calibrated equipment, then verify the assembled oil clearance against the engine builder’s specifications. Clean all components thoroughly and follow the appropriate fastener-lubrication, tightening and torque procedures.

Do not select rod bearings solely by the size marking on the removed bearings. Crankshaft machining, journal wear, connecting-rod sizing and the intended engine use can change the required bearing specification.
