The ARP Long Wheel Stud Conversion Kit replaces the original M12 × 1.50 wheel studs on the 1997–2004 Chevrolet Corvette C5 with extended 1/2-20 press-in studs. Each package contains five studs to service one wheel.
These extended-length studs have a 2.675-inch under-head length and are designed for performance applications requiring a high-strength 1/2-20 wheel-stud configuration. They are manufactured from heat-treated 8740 chromoly steel and nominally rated at 190,000 psi tensile strength.

Important: These studs use 1/2-20 threads and replace the original metric M12 × 1.50 thread format. The factory metric lug nuts cannot be reused. Compatible 1/2-20 lug nuts must be purchased separately.
Each kit services one five-lug wheel. Four kits are required to replace the wheel studs on all four wheels of one Corvette.

Before ordering, confirm that the 2.675-inch under-head length provides the correct usable thread length for the wheel, brake rotor, any approved spacer, and the required lug-nut engagement. Long studs may require open-ended lug nuts depending on the wheel and lug-nut configuration.

Installation
Remove the original wheel studs using the appropriate hub-service procedure. Inspect each mounting hole for damage, deformation, corrosion, or previous modification before installing the ARP studs.
The 0.509-inch knurl requires the correct interference fit in the factory hub. Each stud must be installed squarely and fully seated against the back of the hub. The under-head radius must also have adequate clearance to prevent improper seating or stud damage.
After installation, use only compatible 1/2-20 lug nuts with the correct seat style for the wheels. Verify adequate thread engagement, confirm that the lug nuts do not bottom on the stud noses, and tighten the wheels using the appropriate pattern and torque specification. Professional installation is recommended.
