Applications
This is a universal workshop and engine-building tool for components with existing M10 × 1.50 internal threads. Potential uses include compatible threaded holes in engine blocks, cylinder heads, brackets, housings, suspension components, and other automotive or mechanical assemblies.
Confirm the original thread diameter and pitch before use. M10 × 1.50 is different from M10 × 1.25 and other metric thread pitches.
Important Usage Note
This tool is strictly a cleaning chaser and is not designed to cut new threads. It should not be used to create an M10 × 1.50 threaded hole, enlarge an existing hole, or repair threads that are severely crossed, stripped, distorted, or otherwise damaged.
Thread repair may require a conventional tap, thread-restoration tool, or threaded insert depending on the type and severity of the damage.

Recommended during engine assembly, cylinder-head installation, drivetrain service, suspension work, fabrication, or other repairs where clean existing threads are required for proper fastener engagement and accurate tightening.

How to Use
Verify that the threaded hole is M10 × 1.50 and remove loose surface debris before beginning. Apply a suitable thread-cleaning lubricant when appropriate, then carefully start the chaser by hand to avoid cross-threading.
Turn the tool slowly through the existing threads and periodically reverse it to help release collected debris. Do not force the chaser if excessive resistance is encountered. Remove the tool and clean the hole thoroughly before installing the fastener.
Use additional caution with blind holes. Confirm the available depth and remove all loosened debris and fluid before installing a bolt, as trapped material can prevent proper seating or damage the component.
