Installation
Installation uses the factory bolt location beside the passenger-side tailgate hinge. A 3/8-inch ratchet with a 10 mm socket and a 1/4-inch driver or ratchet that accepts the supplied security bit are required. Tighten the security bolt until the plate sits flat and secure without over-tightening.
Product appearance note: The current protector does not have the CR logo cutout. Some manufacturer installation photos may show an earlier version with the logo cutout, but the installation procedure remains the same. Keep the supplied security bit in a safe location because it is required for future removal.
