This head gasket is made of multiple layers of stainless steel with a Viton rubber coating and is 0.051" thick. It provides maximum sealing performance for high output engines without the need for sealants. It can withstand the shearing force of different materials and has increased strength and resistance to corrosion. The outer layers are embossed and coated with heat resistant Viton, while the center layer is uncoated stainless steel.
