Installation

Inspect the rear rotors, caliper slides, boots, and mounting hardware before installation. Replace worn or damaged components and prepare the rotor surfaces according to the vehicle and brake-pad manufacturer’s procedures.

Many compatible vehicles use an electronic parking brake. Place the system into the proper maintenance or service mode before retracting the rear caliper pistons. Do not force the pistons backward without following the applicable Honda or Acura service procedure, as doing so may damage the electronic parking-brake mechanism.
