Energy Suspension Polyurethane Body Mount Set for 2007–2013 Toyota Tundra – Red

The Energy Suspension Body Mount Set replaces worn, compressed, cracked, or distorted original rubber body mounts on the 2007–2013 Toyota Tundra. These mounts support the truck’s cab on the frame and help maintain proper body and cab alignment.

Energy Suspension manufactures these replacement mounts from its specially formulated Hyper-Flex polyurethane. The material is designed to provide greater resistance to crushing and deformation than the original soft rubber mounts while remaining suitable for street-driven trucks. This 8.4118R set features Energy Suspension’s red finish.

Hyper-Flex Polyurethane Construction

The original rubber body mounts are designed to isolate vibration but can soften, crack, compress, and distort as they age. Energy Suspension’s polyurethane replacements are designed to retain their shape and support the cab more consistently under demanding street, work, and off-road conditions.

Polyurethane mounts are generally firmer than original rubber mounts. Depending on the truck’s condition and configuration, a small increase in road or drivetrain vibration transmitted into the cab may be noticeable.

Recommended Use

Recommended when inspecting or repairing a Toyota Tundra with:

• Cracked, split, crushed, or distorted original body mounts
• Cab movement relative to the frame
• Body-mount deterioration caused by age or exposure
• Clunking or movement traced to a body-mount location
• Uneven cab or body alignment associated with damaged mounts
• Missing or severely compressed factory rubber bushings

Inspect the frame, cab mounting points, mounting bolts, washers, sleeves, and surrounding body structure before replacing the bushings. Rust, damaged brackets, loose hardware, or structural problems must be repaired separately.

Replacement body-mount bolts are not included. Inspect the original bolts and related factory hardware before reuse, and replace any components that are corroded, stretched, damaged, or outside the vehicle manufacturer’s specifications.

Installation

Support the cab safely and replace the mounts according to the Energy Suspension instructions and Toyota service procedures. Work on one side or mounting section at a time to help maintain alignment, and do not raise the cab farther than necessary.

Inspect each mounting location and clean corrosion or debris from the contacting surfaces. Reinstall serviceable factory hardware in the correct position and tighten all mounting bolts to Toyota’s specifications after the cab is properly aligned.

Body-mount replacement requires safely supporting and partially lifting the cab from the frame. Professional installation is recommended if you do not have the appropriate lifting equipment or experience with truck body-mount service.
