G-Force RedLine Technology
Gates developed the G-Force RedLine series for larger side-by-sides and high-horsepower off-road vehicles. Its next-generation Ethylene Elastomer compound is designed to deliver high transverse stiffness and heat resistance, supporting higher load capacity and peak torque while reducing heat-related performance loss.
Heat & Load Performance
Gates reports that RedLine belts deliver approximately 75% greater dynamic axial stiffness on average, up to 50% lower speed loss, and strong recovery from temperatures up to 338°F / 170°C. Gates also states that the belt is designed to resist glazing and recover after operating at temperatures above 300°F / 149°C.
Durability
In Gates severe-duty laboratory and field testing, G-Force RedLine belts demonstrated significantly longer belt life than competing aftermarket belts. The belt design is engineered to improve crack, wear, and chunking resistance during demanding off-road use.

Break-In & Installation
Proper CVT belt break-in is important for belt life and performance. Gates recommends cleaning and aligning the clutch system according to manufacturer specifications before installation. Remove old belt residue and glazing from the clutch sheaves, and do not use brake cleaner on the clutch surfaces.
Gates recommends performing controlled heat cycles after installation and gradually operating through the shift range without exceeding three-quarter throttle during the break-in process. Follow Gates' complete G-Force CVT belt break-in procedure and the vehicle manufacturer's clutch service instructions.
