The Girodisc A2-152 rear brake rotor set is a direct-replacement two-piece performance rotor system for the 2010–2013 Audi TT RS 8J.
Designed to bolt directly in place of the factory rear rotors with no modification required, this system works with the original rear calipers while retaining the factory brake bias and ABS function. Each rotor uses a lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum center hat paired with Girodisc’s proprietary cast-iron rotor ring.

Two-Piece Floating Rotor Design
The Girodisc rotor and aluminum hat use a floating mounting system with high-strength alloy-steel drive pins. This design allows axial and radial movement between the rotor ring and hat as temperatures change during braking.
Anti-noise spring washers help control the cold rattle commonly associated with floating brake rotors while still allowing the rotor to expand under heat. The floating design also allows the rotor to self-center between the brake pads.
Curved-Vane Cooling
The rotor ring uses a curved-vane internal design developed from racing applications. As the rotor spins, the curved vanes help move cooling air through the rotor to improve heat management during repeated braking.
Materials
The center hats are manufactured from U.S.-sourced 6061-T6 aluminum, while the friction rings are manufactured from Girodisc’s proprietary cast iron and machined in-house in the United States.
