Brake Pad Bedding Note
New brake pads should be properly bedded according to Hawk Performance’s recommended procedure. Correct bedding transfers an even layer of friction material to the rotor surface and helps support consistent braking performance.
Avoid holding the vehicle stationary with heavily heated brakes during the bedding process, as this can create an uneven transfer layer on the rotors.
Installation Note
Professional brake-system installation is recommended. Inspect the rear rotors, caliper slide pins, piston boots, hardware, and brake fluid during installation.
