HKS NT-2 Turbo Timer Harness for 1990–1996 Nissan 300ZX
Simplify the installation of a compatible HKS turbo timer in a 1990–1996 Nissan 300ZX Z32 with the HKS NT-2 vehicle-specific wiring harness.
The harness connects between the vehicle’s factory ignition-switch wiring and a compatible HKS turbo timer, reducing the need to cut or permanently alter the primary ignition wiring. Its plug-in design helps create a cleaner and more reversible installation than hardwiring the timer directly into the vehicle harness.
This USA-spec NT-2 harness is commonly used on the Z32 Nissan 300ZX, including Twin Turbo applications equipped with the VG30DETT engine.
This listing includes one HKS NT-2 turbo timer wiring harness. The turbo timer is sold separately.

What Does a Turbo Timer Harness Do?
A turbo timer harness allows a compatible turbo timer to interface with the vehicle’s ignition wiring through vehicle-specific connectors.
When correctly installed with the required safety wiring, the turbo timer can allow a turbocharged engine to idle for a selected period after the ignition key is turned off. The timer and parking-brake safety circuit must be installed according to the HKS instructions.
The actual need for extended idle time depends on the turbocharger, engine configuration, oil and coolant systems, operating conditions, and driving habits.

Professional installation is recommended.
Disconnect the vehicle battery before working on the ignition wiring. Confirm all connectors are fully seated and route the harness away from pedals, steering components, sharp edges, heat sources, and moving parts.
A turbo timer installation must include the required parking-brake safety connection. The engine must not be allowed to continue running if the parking brake is released.
After installation, verify normal ignition operation, accessory operation, parking-brake safety operation, alarm operation, and engine shutoff before driving the vehicle.
