Selector-spring note: The upgraded transmission gear-selector springs are included and recommended by Hybrid Racing, but they are not required for cable installation.

Installation

The original EP3 cable grommet must be removed from the factory cable assembly and transferred to the new Hybrid Racing cables. The supplied aluminum bushing and spring-clip arrangement replaces the factory plastic twist-lock attachment on the cable controlling left-to-right shifter movement.

Follow Hybrid Racing’s installation instructions and confirm that both cables move freely without binding or contacting hot or moving components. Verify full engagement of every gear before operating the vehicle. Professional installation is recommended if the installer is unfamiliar with manual-transmission shifter cables.
