Design Construction
Twin-tube design
The shock absorber is composed of two tubes - one for the piston to operate in, and another, known as the reservoir tube, for the excess oil to flow in and out of. As the piston rod moves, the oil is transferred through valves between the two tubes to ensure controlled damping, which effectively manages the vehicle's suspension.
