The Mishimoto MMRAD-WRX-01 Performance Aluminum Radiator is a direct-fit cooling-system upgrade for 2002–2007 Subaru WRX and 2004–2007 Subaru WRX STI applications. Designed to replace the factory radiator without vehicle modification, it combines full-aluminum construction with a 2-row brazed core and TIG-welded end tanks for improved durability, heat dissipation, and cooling capacity.

Full-Aluminum Construction
The MMRAD-WRX-01 uses an aluminum core with TIG-welded aluminum end tanks rather than the plastic end tanks commonly found on factory-style radiators. This construction provides increased heat and pressure tolerance while improving durability and heat dissipation.
Increased Cooling Capacity
Mishimoto increases coolant capacity to approximately 2.3 gallons, providing additional coolant volume for demanding driving conditions. The 2-row, 1.65-inch-thick brazed core is designed to improve cooling efficiency while retaining direct-fit installation.

Installation Note
This radiator is designed as a direct-fit replacement for compatible applications. Transfer the appropriate factory components and install the supplied hardware according to the Mishimoto installation instructions.
Proper pressure-cap placement is important on these Subaru cooling systems. Follow Mishimoto's supplied instructions for the radiator and expansion-tank cap locations. After installation, refill and properly bleed the cooling system and inspect all hoses, plugs, fittings, and connections for leaks before driving.
