FWD SR20-Swapped Applications
Mishimoto identifies this hose kit for 1991-1999 Nissan Sentra applications equipped with an SR20 engine. Other Sentra trims within this range may be compatible when converted to a transverse front-wheel-drive SR20 configuration using the corresponding radiator, thermostat housing, water outlet, and hose routing.
Important: This kit does not fit an original E, XE, GXE, GLE, or Base model solely because that trim appears in Mishimoto’s general vehicle table. Those models commonly used a different engine and cooling-system configuration. An SR20 engine and compatible FWD SR20 cooling layout are required.
This is not the Mishimoto hose kit for a longitudinal, rear-wheel-drive SR20 installation used in the Nissan 240SX, Silvia, or similar RWD applications. Confirm the radiator connections, water outlet, thermostat housing, hose routing, and connection diameters on engine-swapped vehicles before ordering.

Recommended Use
Recommended when replacing original radiator hoses that have become cracked, swollen, hardened, soft, contaminated, or otherwise damaged. The kit is also suitable for compatible FWD SR20 builds requiring black silicone upper and lower radiator hoses with increased heat and pressure tolerance.
Inspect all remaining coolant hoses, the radiator, water outlet, thermostat housing, hose connections, clamps, and cooling-system components during installation.

Installation
Allow the engine to cool completely before opening or servicing the cooling system. Drain the coolant into an appropriate container and remove the original upper and lower radiator hoses. Clean and inspect each connection before installing the Mishimoto hoses with suitable clamps.
Refill the cooling system with the correct coolant mixture and bleed trapped air according to the applicable Nissan service procedure. Bring the engine to operating temperature, verify proper coolant circulation, and inspect every connection for leakage. Recheck the coolant level after the engine has cooled.
