Mishimoto Universal 500HP Air-to-Water Intercooler
Build a compact and efficient charge-air cooling system with the Mishimoto MMINT-A2W-SP-1 universal air-to-water intercooler. Designed for custom turbocharged and supercharged applications producing up to 500 horsepower, this unit combines a durable bar-and-plate core with a single-pass coolant path and same-side air inlet and outlet configuration.
The compact air-to-water design is ideal for engine bays where space or airflow limits the use of a conventional front-mounted air-to-air intercooler. Coolant flowing through the intercooler core removes heat from the compressed intake air, helping reduce intake-air temperatures, resist heat soak, and maintain more consistent power under boost.
Heavy-duty 5mm cast-aluminum end tanks are TIG-welded to the core for strength and durability. Mishimoto rates the assembly for up to 100 PSI of boost pressure, making it suitable for demanding custom performance builds.
CNC-machined ribbed inlet and outlet connections improve coupler grip, while integrated -12 ORB coolant ports provide secure plumbing connections. The intercooler is finished in a durable micro-wrinkle black powder coat and includes a steel universal mounting bracket with installation hardware.
