Recommended Use
Recommended when replacing aged, cracked, oil-contaminated, damaged, or high-resistance spark plug wires. Worn ignition wires may contribute to misfires, difficult starting, rough operation, hesitation, or reduced ignition performance.
Diagnose the ignition system before replacing components, since similar symptoms can also be caused by worn spark plugs, a damaged distributor cap or rotor, ignition-coil problems, incorrect ignition timing, or other engine-management issues.

Spark plugs, distributor cap, distributor rotor, ignition coil, and installation tools are not included.
Installation
With the engine cool and the ignition switched off, replace one wire at a time to preserve the original firing order. Match each replacement wire to the corresponding original wire by length and terminal configuration, then route it through the original separators and retainers away from hot, sharp, or moving components.
Push each boot fully onto its spark plug and corresponding distributor-cap terminal. Pull on the molded boot rather than the cable when removing or positioning a wire. After installation, verify that every connection is secure and that the wires do not contact the exhaust manifold or interfere with moving components.
