This set of four NGK DCPR7EIX Iridium IX spark plugs provides a complete replacement set for compatible four-cylinder engines or two complete services for compatible two-cylinder engines. The current solid-terminal version is identified by NGK stock number 97637.
Each plug features a fine-wire iridium center electrode designed to concentrate the spark while providing dependable ignition performance and resistance to electrode wear. A tapered-cut ground electrode helps reduce quenching around the spark, while the projected-tip design and copper-core construction support ignition performance and heat dissipation.

Designed for engines that specify NGK DCPR7EIX, DCPR7EIX-SOLID or current NGK stock number 97637. DCPR7EIX is commonly used in select motorcycles, powersports vehicles and automotive applications, including certain Harley-Davidson and other compatible engines.
This four-pack may provide a complete set for a compatible four-cylinder engine or two replacement sets for a compatible two-cylinder motorcycle engine.
Fitment note: Confirm the complete year, make, model, engine and original spark-plug specification before ordering. Thread size, heat range, reach, terminal design and required gap must all match the application. Do not select a spark plug based only on its physical appearance.
Older application catalogs may reference NGK stock number 6046. NGK replaced that version with stock number 97637, which uses a solid, non-removable terminal. Confirm that the ignition lead or coil connection is compatible with the solid terminal.
Recommended Use
Recommended for routine ignition maintenance, replacement of worn or fouled plugs, or applications specifically calling for DCPR7EIX. Modified, high-compression, forced-induction or specially tuned engines may require a different heat range or electrode gap according to the engine builder or tuner.

Installation
Verify the required plug number and electrode gap before installation. Although these plugs are supplied with a nominal 0.8 mm gap, inspect every plug for shipping damage and confirm the gap against the engine manufacturer’s specification.
When checking a fine-wire iridium plug, use a wire-style gap gauge. If adjustment is required, move only the ground electrode and avoid applying pressure to the iridium center electrode or ceramic insulator.
Install each plug into clean cylinder-head threads and tighten it according to the engine manufacturer’s procedure and torque specification. Avoid cross-threading and over-tightening. Spark-plug replacement should be performed with the engine cool.
