Service a compatible four-cylinder engine or purchase the required quantity for a larger engine with this set of four NGK LKR7DIX-11S Iridium IX spark plugs. Each performance-grade resistor plug features a fine-wire iridium center electrode, tapered-cut ground electrode and solid non-removable terminal.

NGK Iridium IX construction is designed to support dependable ignitability and resistance to fouling. These plugs use M12 x 1.25 threads, an extended 26.5 mm reach, NGK heat range 7 and a factory gap of 1.1 mm.

Fitment note: This is a four-plug package. Four-cylinder engines generally require one set, while compatible six-cylinder engines require six plugs and therefore need two sets, leaving two spare plugs. Confirm the vehicle year, make, model, engine, required plug number and total quantity before ordering.

Do not select a spark plug based only on thread diameter or vehicle engine size. Similar-looking plugs may have a different reach, heat range, terminal, seat design or electrode configuration. Vehicles originally equipped with long-life precious-metal plugs may also have different service requirements.

Recommended Use

Recommended for compatible engines specifically calling for LKR7DIX-11S or NGK stock number 93175. Modified, forced-induction or specially tuned engines may require a different heat range and electrode gap based on the engine builder or tuner’s specifications.

Installation

Verify the required plug number and gap against the vehicle service information before installation. Check each plug using a suitable wire-style gauge and avoid applying pressure directly to the fine-wire iridium center electrode.

Install into a cool engine and start each plug by hand to prevent cross-threading. Tighten according to the vehicle manufacturer’s procedure and torque specification. Do not apply lubricant or anti-seize unless specifically directed by the vehicle or spark-plug manufacturer.
