Important fitment note: The 2007 and 2008 model years include vehicles from two different MINI generations. This wire set fits the first-generation R52 convertible with a W10 or W11 engine but does not fit the second-generation R56 hardtop with an N12 or N14 engine. Confirm the body style, chassis code and engine code before ordering.
Recommended Use
Recommended when replacing ignition wires that are cracked, heat-damaged, contaminated or exhibiting excessive electrical resistance. Possible signs of a worn ignition lead may include misfires, rough running, difficult starting or ignition leakage.
Inspect the spark plugs, ignition coil and electrical connections when diagnosing an ignition problem. Similar symptoms can be caused by components other than the wire set.

Installation
Replace one wire at a time to maintain the correct cylinder connections and factory routing. Compare each new lead with the corresponding original wire before installation.
Fully seat each boot onto the ignition coil and spark plug. Route the cables away from exhaust components, sharp edges and moving parts. When removing a wire, grasp the boot rather than pulling directly on the cable.
