This Genuine OEM Honda / Acura K-Series valve cover stud and cap nut kit is used on select K20 and K24 engine valve cover / head cover applications.

This kit includes one OEM valve cover stud and one OEM cap nut used to secure the valve cover in place. It is commonly replaced when the original hardware is stripped, snapped, rounded, corroded, over-tightened, missing, or damaged during valve cover gasket replacement, valve cover removal, cylinder head service, engine reseal work, or K-Series engine assembly.

Installation Note

Do not over-tighten valve cover hardware. K-Series valve cover studs and nuts can be damaged from excessive torque during valve cover gasket replacement. Always follow the factory service manual torque specification and tightening sequence.
