This handlebar is constructed from ProTaper’s proprietary 5 mm-thick 2000-series T6 aluminum alloy, rated at 70,000 psi for solid and predictable feedback. It features a black anodized finish and comes equipped with a reinforced crossbar and ProTaper crossbar pad.

Installation
Center and secure the handlebar using the motorcycle or clamp manufacturer’s recommended tightening sequence and torque specifications. Confirm that the cables, brake hose, throttle assembly, controls, and surrounding components have adequate clearance throughout the complete steering range.
Before riding, verify that the throttle moves freely and returns completely without binding. Make sure no cable or hose is stretched, pinched, or pulled tight at full steering lock. Modification or control relocation may be required depending on the motorcycle.
