Installation Note
Professional transmission rebuilding experience is recommended. Inspect the gears, engagement teeth, sleeves, hubs, bearings, synchronizer springs, seals, and shift components during disassembly.
If the transmission has been driven for an extended period with worn or grinding synchronizers, the affected gear or engagement components may also be damaged and require replacement. Installing new synchronizer rings will not correct damaged gear teeth, worn sleeves, or other internal transmission damage.
