The cover strip presses or slides into the top channel of the crossbar and can be trimmed to fit your required bar length. Replacing a missing or damaged strip helps restore the finished look of the crossbar, helps cover the exposed T-track, and can help reduce wind noise caused by an open roof rack channel.
