Load Capacity Notice
Thule’s installation instructions list a maximum system load of up to 165 pounds, but the actual allowable load is limited by the lowest-rated component in the complete system.
Always follow the lowest applicable rating among:
- Vehicle roof-load limit
- Thule foot-pack rating
- Crossbar rating
- Fit-kit rating
- Cargo carrier or accessory rating
The stated load limit includes the weight of the roof rack system and mounted cargo.
Installation Note
Follow the Thule installation instructions for Kit 186084 and the instructions supplied with the selected foot pack and crossbars.
Confirm that all mounting surfaces are clean before installation. Tighten the mounting hardware to the specified torque and verify that each foot is securely attached to the flush rail.
Recheck the rack after the initial installation and periodically during use. Remove or secure roof-mounted equipment before entering automatic car washes, low-clearance garages, or other restricted areas.
