Choosing the Correct Xscape Fit Kit
Thule also offers the similar Xscape 500105 bedrail fit kit. Although 500105 and 500109 perform the same function and may look similar, they are designed for different pickup-bedrail profiles and are not interchangeable.
Fitment
Thule 500109 is compatible with the Thule Xscape truck rack when installed on an approved pickup and bedrail configuration. This is a vehicle-specific fit kit and is not universal.
Fitment note: Confirm the vehicle year, make, model, bed length, bedrail design, utility-track system and tonneau-cover configuration through Thule’s vehicle fit guide before ordering. Trucks equipped with a tonneau cover, factory cargo-management track or nonstandard bedrails may require a different Thule Xscape fit kit. Do not select the kit based only on its appearance.

Installation
Install the mounting assemblies on the approved bedrail locations according to the Thule instructions, then attach the compatible Thule Xscape rack components. Tighten all hardware to Thule’s specified torque and inspect every mounting point before loading the rack.
Recheck the installation after the initial driving period and periodically during use. Never exceed the lowest load rating specified for the truck, bedrails, mounting kit, rack or attached accessory.
