Wilwood TX6R Front Big Brake Kit for 2013–2018 Ram 1500 4WD
Upgrade the braking performance of your 2013–2018 Ram 1500 4WD with the Wilwood 140-18207 TX6R Big Brake Truck Front Kit. Developed for demanding truck, SUV, and extreme-duty applications, this system combines six-piston radial-mount calipers with massive 16-inch GT slotted rotors for consistent stopping power, improved heat management, and dependable braking under heavy loads.
The TX6R calipers feature a rigid six-piston design with stainless-steel pistons and a black powder-coated finish. Their piston volume is matched for compatibility with the factory power-brake system, helping provide balanced pedal response without requiring an immediate master-cylinder change.
Each 16-inch rotor uses Wilwood’s GT 72 staggered-vane design. The directional internal vanes increase airflow through the rotor to help control operating temperatures during repeated braking. The rotors are dynamically balanced and feature a GT-slotted face with a protective black electro-coat finish.
The kit is designed for compatible 2013–2018 Ram 1500 4WD models using the original factory disc spindles. Radial-mount caliper brackets and the required installation hardware are included. Wheel clearance must be checked before ordering.
