Wilwood BP-40 High-Temperature Racing Brake Pads
The Wilwood 150-40-7912K brake pad set combines the 7912 pad shape with Wilwood’s aggressive BP-40 racing compound. Designed for compatible Wilwood Powerlite and Powerlite 2R radial-mount calipers, this four-pad set provides strong initial bite, predictable modulation, and dependable fade resistance during sustained high-temperature competition use.
The BP-40 compound provides good response at lower operating temperatures while maintaining a low wear rate during repeated high-heat braking. Its linear pedal response helps drivers control braking force through corner entry, while the high friction level delivers the aggressive response required for demanding racing environments.
These pads are suitable for road-course racing, paved oval competition, dirt-track racing, and off-road motorsports. They are compatible with several racing rotor materials, including steel, stainless steel, iron, super alloy, and titanium.
