This kit is intended for vehicles using a compatible OEM Type-S brake configuration.

If the vehicle has been converted to:

• Acura/Honda Type R Brembo calipers
• Aftermarket big brake kits
• Custom calipers
• Non-original brake hose routing
• Modified knuckles or brackets

verify brake-hose length, fitting type, mounting points, and caliper connection before ordering.

Do not assume the lines will work with an aftermarket brake kit simply because the vehicle itself is listed as compatible.

Why Upgrade to Stainless Steel Braided Brake Lines?

Factory-style rubber brake hoses are designed to accommodate suspension movement while containing hydraulic brake pressure. Over time, rubber hoses can age and may expand slightly under pressure.

Goodridge stainless steel braided hoses use a PTFE inner core reinforced by a stainless steel outer braid. This construction is designed to limit hose expansion and maintain more consistent hydraulic pressure during braking.

Installation Note

Professional installation is recommended.

Before installation:

• Inspect the vehicle’s hard brake lines and fittings for corrosion or damage
• Confirm all replacement hoses match the original routing and connection points
• Make sure each hose has sufficient clearance throughout the full steering and suspension range
  
• Keep brake hoses away from tires, wheels, suspension components, and exhaust heat
• Use the correct flare-nut wrench when disconnecting original brake-line fittings

After installation, refill and bleed the brake system using the brake fluid specified by Acura. Check every connection carefully for leaks before operating the vehicle.

Reinspect the brake hoses after the initial road test to verify that they remain correctly routed and free from rubbing, twisting, or excessive tension.
