ProTaper Race Cut 1/2 Waffle Grips are competition-inspired motorcycle grips developed for the demands of Supercross and Motocross riding. Their half-waffle pattern provides a textured gripping surface where the rider needs additional traction while retaining a comfortable contact area across the palm.

An extra-supple, tacky compound helps maximize comfort, maintain control, and dampen handlebar vibration during demanding motos. Integrated tie-wire cut lines provide designated locations for riders who secure their grips with safety wire.

Fitment

Designed for compatible off-road motorcycles using conventional slip-on handlebar grips. Confirm the motorcycle’s handlebar and throttle-tube grip dimensions before ordering.

Recommended Use

Recommended for Motocross, Supercross, track, trail, and other off-road motorcycle applications where a soft, tacky grip and half-waffle control pattern are preferred.

Grip adhesive, safety wire, and installation tools are not included.

Installation

Remove the old grips and thoroughly clean the handlebar and throttle tube before installation. Install using a suitable motorcycle grip adhesive and allow it to cure according to the adhesive manufacturer’s instructions. The molded tie-wire locations can be used for additional grip retention when desired.

After installation, verify that both grips are secure and that the throttle rotates smoothly and returns completely without binding before operating the motorcycle.
