Wilwood Forged DPHA 4-Piston Front Caliper Kit – Black, Honda/Acura 262mm Rotor

The black Wilwood Forged DPHA Front Caliper Kit provides compatible Honda and Acura vehicles with a direct-mount four-piston front caliper upgrade while retaining the factory-size 262 mm rotors. The calipers attach directly to the original mounting points on factory 262 mm disc-brake spindles, making this a caliper-and-pad upgrade rather than a larger-rotor conversion.

Each forged DPHA caliper uses four stainless-steel pistons to provide evenly distributed pad loading, positive braking response, corrosion resistance, and reduced heat transfer into the brake fluid. The black high-temperature powder-coated finish offers a clean, understated appearance behind factory or aftermarket wheels.

The included Wilwood BP-10 brake pads are designed for responsive street-performance braking with smooth engagement and consistent operation. The kit works with the applicable original master cylinder and ABS system and accepts the original-style brake-hose connection.

Fitment

This kit requires factory disc-brake spindles originally designed for 262 mm or 10.32-inch front rotors. It will not fit 240 mm rotor spindles, even if the vehicle has been converted to use 262 mm rotors. The caliper mounting points on the 240 mm spindle are positioned differently.

Confirm that the vehicle has factory-style disc-brake spindles intended for a 262 mm front rotor. Vehicles with spindle, hub, suspension, or brake conversions require additional fitment verification.

Wheel and Rotor Requirements

A minimum 15-inch wheel diameter is required, but this does not guarantee clearance with every 15-inch wheel. Wilwood states that the DPHA caliper clears many factory aluminum wheels, including the factory 15-inch wheel used on the 1999–2000 Civic Si EM1. Wheel-spoke profile, barrel shape, diameter, and offset must still be checked.

Use Wilwood’s wheel-clearance diagram to verify fitment before installation. A minimum clearance of 0.080 inch must be maintained between the caliper and wheel in all areas. Some applications may require appropriately selected wheel spacers or wheels with a different offset.

The existing 262 mm rotors may be retained only if they remain within the manufacturer’s service limits and show no excessive scoring, cracking, heat damage, or other unsafe wear. Rotors are not supplied with this kit.

Recommended Use

Recommended for compatible street and performance Honda or Acura applications where improved caliper rigidity, four-piston pad loading, consistent brake response, and a subdued black-caliper appearance are preferred without converting to larger front rotors.
